I've been thinking and searching for some clarity and I've found what I was looking for.
That sounds a lot deeper, and philosophical than it actually is. I've wanted to get a tattoo for a while now, but wasn't really sure what I wanted but I have finally finished my designs.
They will be like a tattoo sleeve, if you know what that is. I'm going to eventually get at least my design for my left arm written down my forearm, on the inside. I'd like to get the design for my right arm done the same way... but I have a feeling that design may change and become more of a saying, or a quote from the bible in the original Hebrew.

So now it's just a matter of getting it done.

Those look cool. I know for me, personally, I have no desire to get a tattoo, but the creative part of me understands what you are doing and why you would want to.
It's a personal choice. A have a couple friends that have AMAZING tattoos. They can be a great witnessing tool at times, too.
If you want one just because it's "cute" or "cool", I would question your logic because it is permanent. If it means something to you, think about it more before making a decision.
